Word up boys and girls, and thank you very much for taking time out of your day to read this splendid article on ROFLtrax.com!
Things have been crazy busy over here at ROFLtrax! DR777 (Also known as DanielRadcliffe777) very recently released his innovative debut EP, “sup”. We’ve also had a stunning debut album from another new artist, Megawatt Man with “Stunt Granny”, introducing hardcore on ROFLtrax!! In addition, we’ve had new albums from DJ Rilstix and Vaervaf.
Anyways, y’all know me!!! My name is mrSimon (Not Peski!), and I’ve been a cock lately! Why so? Well I had decided to kick both McMangos and Airon Tokzic from the label. I obviously have a lot to learn about being the boss of a netlabel like this. There’s no REAL reason for them to go, so they stay! My bad, I apologise entirely.
Whilst I had made the assumption that they’ve been doing very little music recently, I couldn’t be any more wrong. In the next few months, McMangos will proudly and triumphantly debut his first album. In addition, Airon Tokzic has a stunning new EP which will surly blow your minds.

In addition, I pretty much had it set in stone that with the debut of my latest album, I’d permenantly become Peski. Well, based on a overwhelming flood of negative feedback, I’ve decided to stay mrSimon. Personally I think theres too many “Mr”s in the musical world, but obviously you dont, so yippie, mrSimon for everybody. However, I still want to make some changes. I feel I’ve made the mistake of releasing far too many albums, filled with sub-par tracks. From here onwards, I’m putting every bit of energy into each track I make, and polishing it to the best I can when I make it. When I release my new albums, I dont want my old stuff towering over them on my artist pages. Thats why I’ve made the decision to revise the majority of my albums, for the final time.
In a few months, I’ll be removing “The Remixes: 2001-04″, “The Remixes: 2005-06″, “The Remixes: Video Games” and “The Remixes: 2007″. The best tracks from them all will now be in a 3-Disc collection called “2001-09: The Remixes”.
I’ll also be removing “The Lost Tracks”, volumes 1, 2, 3 and 5. The best tracks will become part of a 3-disc collection, called “2001-09: The Lost Tracks”, with the exception of a handful of remixes, which will now be part of the 3-disc remix collection. “On a SMC Ting Bruv: The Lost Tracks IV” will now just be called “On a SMC Ting Bruv”.
In addition, I’ll be removing “Your Mums Fat: Volume One” and “Your Mums Fat: Volume Two”. The tracks will appear on both the remix, and lost track collections.
So in a nutshell, my collection of releases will be reduced, from 19 releases, to 11. My most popular tracks will still be available.

Whilst I’m making these big updates to my library, others will be doing the same. Orangy will soon be removing his two EP’s, and replacing them with a larger album, which’ll include every track, plus a few new remixes from other ROFLtrax artists. In addition, Breakmaster Cylinder has decided to make his commercial album “File Under Insomnia” (Released as Spasmodic Symmetry) completly FREE for all of you, thats right! Described as his best work, he’ll be relaunching the album very soon under the new album title, “Spasmodic Symmetry”.
Thats enough of that though, lets talk about ROFLtrax itself! Currently, I’m hard at work on the next version of the site. Yeah yeah, I know its only been a few months, but there are a number of features I want to introduce that would just not be possible using the current look. The biggest change in the new ROFLtrax.com is the visual look of the site. The site’s a lot cleaner, and more compact, perfect for those of you with smaller monitors.

We’ll be adding some great new features as well though! So keep listening out for news. Be sure to follow our Twitter too!
As well as all this, there’s still some more bits and pieces going on. As I said, I mrSimon will be releasing a brand new album in the next few months, but as well as that, I am still working on my greatest hits album, which’ll be nothing but brand new mixes of old classics. As well as that, we have a new chiptune artist joining us very soon, as well as the greatly anticipated “In The Zone“ compilation. Lastly, we have another new artist joining us in the future, following our brief demo period. He’s currently working on a release to satisfy you all!
Theres never been a better time to keep your eyes peeled. ROFLtrax.com is going to get better and better!
Peace out!
